Salut. I thought perhaps it would be convenient to put a little spiel about myself on here, for any curious new people who don’t want to scroll through my ridiculous blog to find out about me.

My name is Korbinnian O. Rittinger, and according to some sources I am either 17 or 442 years old. When not in my human form (as you will see at the end of this), I take the form of a crow, or of my true form (something no mortal shall ever gaze upon), as I am often regarded as the Goddess of Crows. I am neither a benevolent deity nor cruel adversary to all that is good— I am much more in the grey areas of so-called ‘morals’ and believe in learning through a variety of experiences. Adaptation is something I find important, hence why my darling crows are so able to survive.

My interests include all manner of things from books (some favourites being The Dresden Files, The Laws of Magic, Skulduggery Pleasant, The Mortal Instruments/ Infernal Devices, and a whole host of other titles) to music (Queen, Owl City, polka, old-school jazz, Chameleon Circuit, Ludo, All Time Low), a fondness for odd instruments (such as the accordion, the dulcimer, the cello, the kantele or the bass clarinet), television shows (Doctor Who, Supernatural, Sherlock, and others), movies and sports (I am quite fond of fencing, darts, bartitsu, basketball and billiards). I am passionate about learning, particularly in the schools of language, history and literature, though I do find private study of the sciences and mathematics to be enjoyable and interesting. 

I will talk to anyone about anything, so long as their mind is as open as mine. 

I do genuinely like people, and find you all to be very fascinating and complex. It is a difficult thing for me to actually hate someone, though I am always willing to re-evaluate my opinion of someone, should a logical flaw in my previous opinion surface.

Hobbies of mine include the writing of fictional prose of my own devising, reading, engaging my attention in games such as Assassin’s Creed, drawing, pondering philosophical things, cooking, eating and learning everything I possibly can.
